Life Is Art - Issue #114-- News from the Louis Pohl Gallery
February 16, 2019
Aloha,

March's Make Art Saturday Schedule

It was an exciting 2018 with lots to do and trying new things like having art classes at 1:30 every Saturday. We are in our second year and we are finding that the classes are very fun new art experiences for everyone and every level of art skills.

On March 23, 2019, we are doing the fourth Walk on the Wild Side. Its a health and art festival held on Fort Street Mall, Bethel St and Sun Yat Sen Park. National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii is organizing a historic Chinatown mystery walk (register at kidney.or/wows. There is a free kidney screening and there are two stages of free entertainment, art on Bethel St. with several free make and take art activities.

On that day, we are also going to have a one day Wild Side Art Gallery in the Chinatown Gateway plaza (1040A Nuuanu Avenue). This is a fund raiser demonstration project to start-up our Creative Arts Center. We are giving away a free Aloha Charm for everyone who checks us out on March 23.

Hope to see you soon, our classes or Walk on the Wild Side.

Best First Friday parking is at Kukui Plaza, entrance on Kukui Street behind Pali Long's.
