The mood is fun and energizing yet soothing and reminiscent of artists and composers such as Flim and the BB's, Lee Ritenour, Youssou N'Dour, Yanni, Enya, The Gypsy Kings, Olodum and Aaron Copland. With these influences and his more than 20 years in music performing and recording as a sideman, von Baron draws on musical influences from around the world including Brazil, the U.S., Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean. His music makes for both an exhilarating and satisfying musical journey unifying New Age and World Music into a genre von Baron refers to as "World Age Music". This is music with a purpose - to bring our world closer together through tolerance and understanding.
