Life Is Art - Issue #087 -- News from the Louis Pohl Gallery
April 28, 2017
Aloha,

Clay Impressions of Lori Nakatsuka and Russell Wee

May's First Friday will feature Lori Nakatsuka and Russell Wee's "clay Impressions." Both artists have great control of the clay, but their works are diametrically different in tone and style. There is a stark contrast between Lori's whimsical ceramics showing a light-hearted sense of humor with Russell's more precise--mechanically engineered wheels and gears. Come if you can to our First Friday artists reception to meet the two potters and find out what makes their wheels turn.

Anne Irons will also be available to talk stories about her paintings. We extended her show another month by popular demand.

Louis' "It's Really Nice!" is a book that reminds us to notice the little things in the moment--all blessings that make us feel good. The book and notecards are available for sale in the gallery.

All of the art is worth the trip to Chinatown. Have fun this week.
