Life Is Art - Issue #092 -- News from the Louis Pohl Gallery
January 25, 2018

Happy Chinese New Year . Celebrate Diversity,February 2, 2018

On February 2, 2018, First Friday, the Chinese Lions are coming to Bethel St. between 6-9 pm. The Gallery will have fireworks and Lisee for the happy dancing lions.

Also in the gallery, the 2018 schedule continues with Dennis Leong, Lori Nakatsuka and Roy Yamashiro's ceramics--all fun loving artists who are passionate about their art. Sam Ahai agreed to extend his show and the love he has for "Our Hawaii." Come meet the artists and their friends and family to celebrate the arts. We'll be here from 6-9 pm talking art and life.

We continue to support the Creative Arts Experience's Make-Art every Saturday from 1:30-3:30 in the gallery. Every art experience is different, fun and affordable. Take advantage of the opportunity to express your creativity. $10 donation goes to start-up the community art center. It is so very fun.

We still have copies of Louis' "It's Really Nice!" is a book that reminds us to notice the little things in the moment-- all blessings that make us feel good.

Have fun and continue the HAPPY journey in the 2018.

Best First Friday parking is at Kukui Plaza, entrance on Kukui Street behind Pali Long's.
