Life Is Art - Issue #099 -- News from the Louis Pohl Gallery
April 25, 2018
Aloha,

Book and Music Preview in Chinatown FREE

The thing to do during the first week of May is our book and music meets the arts on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - May 2-4 in the ARTs at Marks, Pegge Hopper Gallery and the Louis Pohl Gallery. Chinatown will be the place to meet, greet and listen to a small sample of the Festival’s arts and words being offered up by locals in up-close and personal settings.

Creative Arts Experience and the Louis Pohl Gallery organized the FREE happenings. Wednesday is typical of our Make Art paired with music. Everyone is encouraged to bring their sketchpads to draw to music or do a make and take start-up of your own altered book. Thursday, we are having storytelling by Wing Tek Lum haiku readings and haiku's by Kawika Eyre and his friends. All very fun...

Don't forget to come to our first Friday. Imaikalani is my most favorite artist showing his new works.

Our three days and nights happens before the two day extravaganza of the Hawaii Book & Music Festival at Honolulu Hale.
