Aloha,

August First Friday Features Jerome Wallace

Please come to celebrate with us on First Friday in August 6-9 pm. and meet

Local artist Jerome Wallace has lived in Hawaii for the past 50 years and during that time he has been active in the national and international art scene. He received his formal education at the Carnegie-Mellon Institute of Technology, Texas Christian University and a Master of Fine Arts from Department of Drama and Theater at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He had a very active theater career, which preceded his pursuit of painting full time.

Over the years, Wallace’s work has become increasingly intense. The colors almost leap from the canvas and subtler in their blending. Each painting is a composite unique embrace of life, his passion, his concern, his movement, and above all, his inspired expression of what he sees and feels.
