August 28, 2018
Aloha,

Save the Dates: Lots to do the Fist Week in September

There is so much going on in the Arts District and the Gallery. The big weekend is our usual first Friday kickoff with Lauren Okano- Freestyle and Mark Mitsuda and Erin Yuasa showing their Ceramics and Glass during the month of September.

On Saturday, September 8, 2018, The gallery/Creative Arts Experience helped Hawaii Theatre organize Celebrate the Arts Festival from 11-3 pm. Its centered in the Sun Yat Sen Park, spilling out onto Bethel St. We are showcasing Pastel Association of Hawaii, Bonsai Club, Association of Hawaii Artists, Honolulu Printmakers and more.

Sergio Garzon is creating a fun mural sculpture of the Block Head in the middle of the Sun Yat Sen Park. We will have music a keiko hula show and free make and takes. Lots to do.

I have attached the September make and take schedule. Note that September 8th we will have FREE make and takes in the park.

Every Saturday, the gallery features a different special make-art experience through Creative Arts Experience. Come cool off in the Gallery at 1:30. It's a $10 donation to the Creative Arts Experience.

Best First Friday parking is at Kukui Plaza, entrance on Kukui Street behind Pali Long's.
