What's Up - Issue #007-- News from the Louis Pohl Gallery
July 03, 2019
Aloha,

July What's HappeningSchedule 2019 Chinatown/Downtown

We are now hosting the Louis Pohl Gallery and the Downtown Art Center's News. Both places will participate in First Friday. Worth a trip -- they are only 1-1/2 blocks from each other.

At the Downtown Art Center the Handweavers have transformed the space with their art. The room has come alive--comfortable yet sophisticated (See flyer attached).

At the Louis Pohl Gallery, We Hitoshi Hida's first pastel show since retiring last year is called Serentity. Supin Wongbusarakum's teapot show is called Memory of the Earth: Fusing the Sensual and the Spiritual.

I started a What's Up newsletter listing all the goings on at both places. Got to check out the Tuesday brown bag sketching to music at noon at the DAC and the Saturday art classes at the LPG.

Check it out

Sandy

Best First Friday parking is at Kukui Plaza, entrance on Kukui Street behind Pali Long's.
